Assam groups threaten to block entry to Meghalaya Garo Hills: Forty different Assam groups have threatened to block all routes leading to Garo Hills District of Meghalaya. The Assam groups have threatened to block routes from October 29. The decision comes in the wake of the continued restrictions that restrict the entry of people to Meghalaya. Various organizations like All Assam Students Union (AASU), All Bodo Students Union (ABSU), All Moron Trade Students Union (AMSU), and other trade associations.
