  Shocker for govt employees in J&K: Now govt can retire any employee after 22 yrs of service or 48 yrs of age Srinagar:   Jammu and Kashmir government has amended the service rules under which it can now retire any government employee after 22 years of Service or after attaining the age of 48 years. As per the latest order, the amendments have been made in article 226 (2) of J&K Civil Services regulation to make regular register. Here are the details: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, on the orders of Lieutenant Governor, has introduced certain substitutes in 226(2) Article of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Regulations.
