Jammu and Kashmir police Monday detained three BJP leaders,who tried raise tricolour

 Jammu and Kashmir police Monday detained three BJP leaders from Kupwara who tried raise tricolour at the Clock tower, Lal Chowk, Srinagar, officials said.



They said that three BJP leaders from the party’s  Kupwara unit reached Lal Chowk, near clock tower ( Ghanta Ghar) this morning. The three included the party spokesman from Kupwara Mir Basharat, and two other leaders—Mir Ishfaq and Akhtar Khan.


Before they were stopped by police, Basharat said they came to  Lal Chowk to hoist Tricolour to send a message to members of Peoples Alliance for Gupkar declaration that only national flag will remain in Kashmir.


“Today we came to celebrate the day when Maharaja Hari Singh signed the instrument of accession with the Centre.

Our message is for Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah and all other members of PAGD, that only tricolour will be unfurled in Kashmir,” he said.


Police however detained all three BJP leaders and lodged them in police station Kothibagh,” said a  police officer

  ‘Covid Patient death due to negligence’, Clarifies Doctor Ernakulum: A Covid patient’s death in Kerala occurred due to negligence. A doctor from   Kalamassery Medical College  has confirmed that the Covid patient had died due to negligence. Dr. Najma from Kalamassery Medical College has clarified that the  Covid patient's death due to negligence from the concerned personnel. Though he had a mask, the ventilator tube was not connected. This had implicated in the death of the patient. Earlier, an audio clip had surfaced which claimed that a Covid patient, who underwent treatment in the hospital had died due to a disconnected ventilator tube. Based on the audio clip, the Health Minister KK Shailaja had prompted the suspension of the nursing officer. However, the RMO,   Dr. Ganesh Mohan , had taken a stance that was supportive of the nursing officer, over the Covid patient's death due to medical negligence. He said that the nursing officer in question was on leave for one month
